A reddish egret in its signature canopy pose, wings swept forward and bill aimed downward toward the water. The entire form flows as a single curving shape — body, wing, and shadow merging into one unbroken line. A thin stroke of water beneath grounds the gesture without interrupting it. About the process

Each print is hand-carved into a linoleum block and printed one at a time using a flatbed press. No two prints are exactly alike — small variations in ink coverage and pressure are part of the process, not flaws. What you receive is an original print, not a reproduction.
